El 8 de agosto de 2026 la comunidad internacional conmemoró el Día Mundial del Wushu-Kungfu (World Wushu-Kungfu Day). La Asociación Mundial de Wushu (WWSA) se suma a esta celebración y reafirma su compromiso con el wushu tradicional y moderno, los maestros, las escuelas y los colegios de maestros de wushu en todo el mundo.

On August 8, 2026, the international community marked World Wushu-Kungfu Day. The World Wushu Sports Association (WWSA) joins this celebration and reaffirms its commitment to traditional and modern wushu — and to masters, schools, and colleges of wushu masters worldwide.

2026年8月8日，国际社会迎来世界武术功夫日。世界武术运动协会（WWSA）共同庆祝这一日子， 并重申对传统与现代武术，以及全球名师、武校与武术名师学院的承诺。

El Día Mundial del Wushu-Kungfu se celebra cada año el primer sábado a partir del 8 de agosto (en 2026 coincidió con el propio 8 de agosto). Es una ocasión para que practicantes, maestros y escuelas organicen actividades abiertas, demuestren formas, compartan salud y den a conocer el legado cultural del arte marcial chino.

World Wushu-Kungfu Day is observed each year on the first Saturday on or after August 8 (in 2026 it fell on August 8 itself). It is an occasion for practitioners, masters, and schools to organize open activities, demonstrate forms, share health benefits, and promote the cultural legacy of Chinese martial arts.

世界武术功夫日每年在8月8日当天或之后的第一个星期六举行（2026年恰逢8月8日）。 这是习练者、名师与武校开展公开活动、展示套路、分享健康与传播中华武术文化的契机。

The 2026 edition of this global celebration comes at a moment of heightened visibility for wushu in international youth sport. The Association welcomes that momentum and recalls that the movement’s foundation is the schools, masters, and colleges that train new generations every day — in Asia, Latin America, and around the world.
